02. Why did you choose your instrument?/ Pourquoi avez-vous choisi cet instrument ?
In all truth, I wanted to play the alto sax. My parents even went far enough to by me an old used sax from a family friend. Thankfully fate intervened and my first band teacher insisted I try a more difficult instrument and, being a horn player herself, she insisted I try the horn.

03. Describe some of your professional goals./Décrivez quelques-unes de vos ambitions professionnelles.
My primary professional goal is like many young Canadian musicians: I want to play in one of Canada's professional symphony orchestras. But I think more importantly, my goal as a horn player is to make others feel the immense joy and passion the horn has given me in my life.
