5. Why did you choose your instrument / Pourquoi avez-vous choisi cet instrument ?
In the Ontario school system if you wanted to play the saxophone you had to learn clarinet first. So I picked the clarinet because I wanted to learn jazz saxophone. I excelled at the clarinet and my teacher encouraged me to stick with it and perhaps pursue a career as a professional musician- and so I did.

6. What are your professional goals? / Décrivez quelques-unes de vos ambitions professionnelles.
In this fast paced world we live in I just want to find a way to share music with people and hopefully make some money doing so. A job in a professional orchestra is what I'm aiming for.

9. How do you feel you will benefit from participation in the NYOC? / Comment pensez-vous que votre participation à lONJC puisse vous aider?
I'll be playing great repertoire and I will be working with great musicians. It's a great learning opportunity. I can't be sure exactly what I will learn this year but I can be certain that I will develop some way or another.

What are your interests outside classical music / Avez-vous d’autres intérêts à part la musique classique ?
When I need to get away from music I find there is no better way than going to the gym or cooking--or cleaning for that matter. You know I've had a really stressful week when my apartment is really clean. Sleep is another one of my favorite non music activities.

Who is your favourite classical musician? / Quel est votre artiste (classique) préféré ?
I've tried to pick a few but I just can't. There are so many fabulous musicians in the world...

Who is your favourite non-classical musician? / Quel est votre artiste (non classique) préféré ?
Right now I kind of have a thing for Ella Fitzgerald. But again that will change by next week anyways.

Working at starbucks...Doing chamber music maybe doing a recital.
