02. Why did you choose your instrument?/ Pourquoi avez-vous choisi cet instrument ?
As a child I had a babysitter who used to bring her violin to entertain my siblings and I. I was fascinated by the instrument and started lessons soon after.

03. Describe some of your professional goals./Décrivez quelques-unes de vos ambitions professionnelles.
In the span of a lifetime I believe that there is an infinite amount of possibilities to explore in music and I hope to be able to do a little bit of everything. I have a special place in my heart for chamber music and am very interested in outreach/interactive concerts!

10. What made you decide to pursue classical music?/ Pourquoi avez-vous choisi une formation en musique classique ?
I didn't find anything more rewarding enjoyable and challenging as music and the idea of a life-long process of continuous learning intrigues me. I love it for its endless possibilities in the future and for its high degree of perfectionism and creativity.

11. What do you think is the biggest challenge you face in your pursuit of a career in music?/ Quel est le plus grand obstacle à surmonter afin de poursuivre une carrière en musique ?
Patience and effective practice. I think it is important for us as musicians to learn the virtues of patience. To become an authentic cultivated and accomplished artist (and human being) is a life long process that demands our complete dedication. A talent must be worked at and developed over time and we must learn to respect the natural time we need as humans artists and musicians to learn and to properly discover the inherent characteristics that define who we are. Only if we have patience can we practice mindfully and efficiently.
